3rd Annual Laurier Brantford LEAP conference
LEAP is a weekend long leadership conference from Aug 5 - 7 where incoming first year students have the opportunity to come to campus to develop their leadership skills. The conference will supply you with the proper skill set you need in order to not only get involved on campus, but to be academically successful as well.
The entire weekend is centered around you, a self identified leader who would like to have a first hand look at what it’s like to get involved at Laurier Brantford and how to better utilize your already existing leadership skills.
Through various workshops, LEAP Delegates will be learning about their own leadership style, how to work and communicate with others, conflict mediation, and much more. The weekend is packed full with fun activities, challenges, and games, and is a great way to learn about Laurier Brantford. The LEAP Delegates also spend two nights in residence, so they get a feel for res, before they move in at the beginning of September.
LEAP is a great way to get to know your fellow peers before move-in day; you have the opportunity to establish friendships with other delegates as well as the senior-students who volunteer during the conference.
Registration is now open! Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity!
