A FSG is a place for you to get together with other people from your classes and a FSG leader (someone who has previously taken the course) to discuss the course content, and gain a deeper understanding of what is being discussed in the class. This does not mean that the FSG leader will teach you the content, but they will help you understand it or realize that you understand it. They will also help students understand their assignment requirements.
