Residential Services Summer Rental Program

Welcome to the Residential Services’ Summer Rental and Conferences Page. Laurier Brantford offers both short and long-term accommodations in residence during the summer months. We are best able to accommodate summer guests requiring stays of  three weeks or longer, typically beginning the second weekend in May, through the second weekend in August. Our capacity varies depending on the date and type of stay required.

For the summer of 2011, rooms will be available for rent no earlier than May 16th, 2011, and our summer residence will close on Aug. 15th, 2011.

Our rooms are furnished and air conditioned, with full kitchens and access to cable television provided. Beds are twin-sized, normally in a single room, apartment-style configuration. Complimentary internet service may be arranged, depending on the nature of your request.

The following services are NOT available:
Mail Service
Residential phone lines
Kitchenware, cutlery, etc.

A parking pass is available from the Campus Operations office to park on campus.  The parking pass is $28.92/month throughout the summer. The buildings are also on the bus route and near the bus depot.  Residents may park long term ($45 per month) at the Market Centre Parkade, at 59 Icomm Drive, and short term on the street adjacent to the residence buildings.

AVAILABILITY:

Rooms are available no earlier than May 16th, 2011 and must be vacated by August 15th, 2011. Units are 3 and 4 bedroom apartments. We reserve the right to assign bedrooms if guests rent a bedroom alone.

APPLICATION:

If you are interested in utilizing the Laurier Branford Summer Residence, please fill out an online reqest with all your personal information and the details of your request. You will be contacted within five business days to verify your reservation. Filling out a request form does NOT guarantee you residence.

LINENS:

Laurier Brantford can now offer bed linens and pillow at an additional cost of $20/week. This service will provide you with the following:
1 fitted sheet
1 flat sheet
1 pillow with pillow case
1 thermal blanket

Should you choose to rent linens for a period longer than one week, clean linens will be provided after one week. Linens will not be changed or washed daily.

 

RATES:

We are happy to quote you on a rate specific to your needs.  Student-Nightly rental rates for 2011 will be $35 per bedroom. Monthly rental rate will be $250 per bedroom. Rates for non-students will differ. Full apartment rental rates will vary.

Stays of under 30 days are subject to 5% GST and 5% PST.

Cash or Cheque only, post-dated cheques preferred.

Unique requests considered, although preference is given to applicants able to work within the established parameters.
