Go Ask Alice
This health question-and-answer Internet service, produced by a division of Health Services at Columbia University, has three primary features:
| Health Services Contact this on-campus medical service for specific questions about medication, psychiatric referral, and general health issues. (Here at Counselling Services, we approach emotional issues from a nonpsychiatric perspective. But if you are prescribed medication for depression or anxiety, you will likely be encouraged to complement that medical approach with professional counselling as well.) |

Self-Help Brochures
The Counseling Center at the University of Illinois has developed a series of self-help brochures on a variety of topics of interest to students, such as test anxiety, loneliness, relationship issues, and so on. These brochures include general information as well as helpful tips on dealing with the issue addressed. |
| The Writing Centre Our Study Skills Program may be able to help you with aspects of "project management" that apply to organizing a paper/essay/thesis, and our counselling staff may help you with some writing "blocks." But for direct help with your writing skills, contact Laurier’s Writing Centre. |
