Welcome to the Accessible Learning Centre at Wilfrid Laurier University in Brantford!
You’ve played a significant part in your child’s academic career so far. The transition to university may be an easy one, and it may be difficult. It requires a significant change in both your, and your child’s life. Here at the Accessible Learning Centre we can help your child overcome the obstacles they face, to ensure that they receive equal education.
To help you, parents and children, understand what the transition between high school and university can be, and what the Accessible Learning Centre can do to help, we offer a program, Transition 101, that we run in July / August. If you cannot make it to one of these days, then you may feel free to make an appointment with Deirdre to discuss your concerns.
Unlike elementary school and high school, we cannot share any of the student’s information with the parents, unless they have signed a form allowing the information to be released.
Please feel free to browse the website to find out more information on the services we can offer your child, our student. If you have any questions, also please look through the FAQ section, or email us if you cannot find the answer to your question here.
